Chandrababu Naidu, Nara Brahmani is all set to expand the Heritage Foods
business into some of the new verticals.
Sources
say that she is now overseeing the most of activities related to
Heritage company which is held by the CBN family. It has become a
household name already in the Telugu speaking states for its milk
products business.
Now, Heritage seems to be
venturing into the wind power generation. The company had recently
commissioned its maiden 2.1 MW wind power plant in Chinahothur Village
located in Vajrakodur Mandal of Ananthapuram District. This is a good
news indeed for the locals in terms of employment.
The
wind power generated from the plant will be reportedly used for the
needs of Gokul Dairy Plant and Chittoor Dairy Plant of Heritage located
in Chittoor District. The Heritage Company has an annual turnover of
Rs.2072.45 crores as mentioned for FY 2014-15.
