Cyberabad has gleaming buildings and high end infrastructure and one particular stretch in this part of the city is the “death zone”. The National Highway 65 which passes between Miyapur and Kukatpally on an average sees more than eight accidents every month.

Connecting the cities the road is an arterial link for the two Telugu speaking states and because of the growth in the western part of the city, the road has become the major link for local residents and especially for those who are working in many tech offices and many road users are facing some horrifying consequences.

Experts have said the accidents are due to lack of pedestrian crossing, lack of service roads, and as there are no service roads, many uses are forced to use the NH roads. The police have also made a complaint about it to the National Highways Authority of India about the stretch.

The police authorities are also blaming the bad condition of roads. Due to seasonal or unseasonal rains, frequent leakage of drainage in the area and the connectivity road from Balanagar to Moosapet and potholes are formed and it causes damages and inconvenience to the free flow of the traffic and a letter was sent to the GHMC requesting immediate repair of the road.
