On Monday the Telangana government has unveiled its information and Communication Technology policy, and four subsidiary policies have aimed at transforming the state into the most preferred destination place for IT companies and doubling the IT exports in another five years.


The state has the aim to make Hyderabad the top most IT destination in the country and the government has the target of increasing the current IT exports to Rs. 68,232 crores. It also has plans to double the current employment of four lakh and establish three tier II cities as IT hubs in the next five years.


The Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan and the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has unveiled the policies in the presence of a galaxy of luminaries from IT sector which includes Infosys Chairperson N.R. Narayana Murthy. Two new manufacturing clusters will be developed in 900 acres.


Presently inviting IT companies to invest in Telangana and the CM has promised hassle free and corruption free clearances in time bound manner. NASSCOM Chairman B.V.R. Mohan Reddy has declared Rs.10 crores on behalf of his company Cyient for digital Telangana and he has urged the IT companies having presence in Hyderabad to move to tier II cities in the state.
