The High Court of Hyderabad on Monday has directed the GHMC Commissioner to give reply within a period of two weeks as why the flex boards and hoardings with the political messages and political messages were allowed in various parts of the Hyderabad city.


A Division Bench of Hyderabad High Court which comprises of Acting Chief Justice Dilip B. Bosale and the justice P. Naveen Rao has asked the commissioner to immediately respond to the complaint which was lodged as the hoardings and the posters are put up.


It was said that immediate action was not taken by the concerned officers are not taking actions in this regard. The Bench is dealing with the petition which was filed by the Telangana Vanarula Parirakshana Committee which has stated that GHMC is silent in the issue.


Presently the posters and the hoardings are causing harm to the road users. The Bench has said it was not inclined to accept the argument that there are illegal hoardings in the city and many have commented about the posters and hoardings and have asked the government to take immediate action within two weeks time.
