Television actor Pratyusha Banerjee's father Shankar Banerjee has said that actor Rahul Raj Singh should be hanged immediately or should be imprisoned for the rest of his life. TV artist Pratyusha committed suicide on April 1st and Rahul Raj Singh was arrested with respect to this suicide.
Shankar Banerjee who refrained from media, finally broke the ice. Speaking to media, he said, "Rahul should be hanged or thrown behind bars for the rest of his life. He has ruined my daughter's life. Her death must get justice. We never came to media as we wanted to complete all the rituals.
We have lost our daughter and we have filed an FIR. Whatever problem she had, we conveyed to Police and cops recorded our statement." A prayer meeting was organized at Gurdwara in Mumbai.
Family members, relatives and Pratyusha's close friends - Deepshikha, Anuj Sachdeva, Sangram Singh, and Rohit Verma attended the prayer meet. Pratyusha's mother who was depressed and inconsolable also said Rahul Raj Singh should be punished. Police are further investigating the case.
