According to sources from the Congress camp in Delhi, popular
political strategist Prashant Kishore, considered as the right-hand for
Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his successful poll campaign in 2014,
is all set to take up the responsibility of reviving Telangana’s Congress party unit.
Kishore
would be working hard to strengthen it to tackle the Telangana Rashtra
Samithi in 2019 elections. In this regard, the Congress high command has
sought the services of 40-year old Kishore for breathing new life into
the party in Telangana by 2019.
He will be
touring extensively in all parts of the Telangana region to identify the
right candidates for the Congress and also study the programmes that
are being implemented by the TRS government.
He
will be identifying the issues that can championed by the Congress
before next elections and finalise the overall campaign strategy.
Kishore was the man behind Modi’s success in 2014 and also helped in
bringing back the Nitish Kumar government in Bihar by taking on BJP.
