The DMDK rebels and the DMK Party for its alleged role in the split has turned as a major embarrassment for the People Welfare Front (PWF) on Wednesday after its convener and the MDMK Secretary Vaiko have made many unsavoury remarks about the DMK President Karunanidhi.

Vaiko’s remarks has evoked widespread criticism and he has prompted leaders of the two PWF constituents VCK and CPI (M) to disapprove the comments and by late evening, Vaiko has tendered an unconditional apology to the DMK President Karunanidhi.

This has happened when Vaiko was speaking at a press meet at Thayagam at the MDMK headquarters and has blamed the CMK Treasurer M.K. Stalin and his son in law for instigating dissent in the DMK. He also added that it’s the nature of Karunanidhi and Stalin to break the opposition parties and have recollected the past incidents of the rebellion in the MDMK.

Vaiko has made an unconditional apology late evening through an official announcement and has told that his reference to an oldest trade has given room for the wrong interpretation. He considers what he has told was a mistake and he has sought forgiveness for the same. He has requested Kalaignar to be generous and accept his explanation.
