Amid the furors over the same water which is been used to maintain the cricket pitches for the IPL matches in drought hit areas the Maharashtra Sunrisers Hyderabad mentor VVS Laxman has told that shifting the IPL matches is not a solution for what is now the National problem.


Laxman was addressing the reporters at an event and he was saying to find out the root cause of the main problem and as far as bad weather is concerned it is not a problem only in the state but also in the whole country. So he has told that shifting from Mumbai is not a solution for everything. Only the root cause has to be identified and the government is taking necessary action so that it does not happen again.


IPL helps the young cricketers to from some of the experienced players and also adds to the economy of the country. As both are very important and he feels for the farmers and this year because of bad monsoon, there is lot of water scarcity. The problem is not only for the farmers as a whole, but also for the whole country.


He has also said that merely everyone is looking for negatives as far as IPL is concerned. The match is not only a game, but helps the youngsters can learn from the exceptional players from India as well as the entire world. It adds the economy of the country. Sachin has plans to come and contribute and it will happen in the near future.
