On Monday the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has told that his government was committed and has worked for the welfare and upliftment of the Backward Classes (BCs) in the state and they have taken several programs for the benefit of the BCs.


The TDP-BJP has sanctioned a hefty sum of Rs. 8,832 crores in the present accounting year and they have also taken up many welfare programs for the development of BCs. This shows about the government’s sincere commitment for the wellbeing of the deprived sections of the society.


The AP Chief Minister was addressing at a function which was organized by the state government to celebrate the magnanimous social leader and reformer Jyotiba Phule’s birth anniversary. Naidu has also added that the state was establishing constituency-wise industrial clusters to help the youth from BCs to become entrepreneurs.


Naidu also stated that the Center has also planned to establish ESI Hospitals in Vizhianagaram district, and Kakinada in East Godavari district. The Union Urban Development Minister Venkaiah Naidu has told that the center has catapulted a health insurance scheme for the poor in the country.
