Vijay Mallya seems to have a bad time right now. He fled to London without paying debts of Rs.9000 Crores. However he responded that he will pay every last penny. But soon after such a statement, he announced that he will initially pay 4,000 Crores to banks and later pay the rest.
But banks never accepted his request. Most of his properties were thrown for auction. However there were no takers. His private bungalow in Mumbai came to Auction and still now there are no buyers.
Now his private jet is up for sale and once again there are no takers. The Sales Tax department put up a notification for e-auction of private the jet, named VT-VJM, but no one has coughed up the mandatory Rs.1 crore deposit.
This private jet has 25 Passenger capacity and this luxurious jet is now available for sale. However a former employee of Vijay Mallya said, "Which billionaire in India wants to buy a jet that was already used when they can go for a new one ?" The auction continues.
