Very soon the Telangana governance is going to make Aadhaar card as compulsory for registrations and even for change of ownership of vehicles and driving license issuance will be made at the earliest. The instructions will be reached as early as possible.
The concerned government will soon issue the instructions in this connection. Sources have stated that few months before the Aadhaar number was made compulsory for the registration of new autos for the confirmation of the address.
But as per the new rule which is made currently, the owners of the vehicles will have to furnish the respective Aadhaar number without fail for the registration of vehicles and regarding the issuance of driving license.
This new step will be easier for the department to check how many vehicles are registered on a person with the Aadhaar number. The submission of Aadhaar number for vehicle registrations and driving license is already in practice in Hyderabad city.
