Congress president Sonia Gandhi's daughter Priyanka Gandhi is furious on leading national daily Times of India. She is so outraged that she demanded unqualified apology and her lawyer Aman Panwar sent a letter demanding the same from Jaideep Bose,Editor-In-Chief and others from Times of India.


Couple of days back Times of India carried out articles regarding Priyanka Gandhi's official accommodation. Priyanka Gandhi on Saturday clarified that the rent for her Government provided accommodation was similar to others in her category and she was asked to occupy on security grounds.


Her office even released special licence fee decided by the then Government which she is paying regularly. Controversy generated after TOI published an article that Priyanka got the then Government headed by Atal Bihari Vajpayee to reduce rent from a whopping Rs 53,421 per month to just Rs 8,888.


The journalist got the information through an RTI. News paper report even stated that Priyanka is now paying Rs 31000 for her Type VI government accommodation. Priyanka's lawyer in his letter maintained that the article was full of fatal misstatements.
