The Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (MDMK) Party general secretary Vaiko has told that farmers have lost self confidence and their activities are paralyzed due to financial burden and pressure which was mounted on them by the bankers and he has also told that farmers are committing suicide and the rate is increasing currently.
Vaiko was starting his election campaign for DMDK candidates at Andipatti on Sunday and he charged both the rival Dravidian party leaders Jayalalitha and Karunanidhi as they had shown interest in selling liquor in the state.
He added that Karunanidhi has sold liquor for 20,000 crores and Jayalalitha has sold for 24,000 crores. Vaiko took more time to explain the ill effects of drinking liquor and the party men in an inebriated mood has irritated him and has tested his patience.
Vaiko has also appealed to the party men not to allow drunks to accompany them while canvassing voters as their attitude and behavior would bring disgrace to the party. He was stating the newspaper reports and the Finance Minister O.Pannerselvam was found missing and he has no personal grudge against him and he was very clever in distributing cash to the voters.
