Recently a survey was conducted by Delhi-based Centre for Media
Studies regarding the performance of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana
governments under the respective Chief Ministers Chandrababu Naidu and K
Chandrasekhar Rao. It has given some interesting observations.
They
were given different interpretations by various media houses in tune
with own policies. But Sakshi seems to have completely ignored it even
though it is fully owned by YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy. This
did not come as a surprise to many political intellectuals.
Eenadu
highlighted a small paragraph based on press release from Andhra
Pradesh Chief Minister’s Office which shows how people are largely happy
with the Naidu government, Andhra Jyothy showed negative and positive
comments of this survey against Naidu, and as expected it highlighted
Naidu government’s performance.
But the survey
also revealed many negative points against him especially the failure of
his administration as well as growing corruption. Some of the YSR
followers strongly believe Jagan’s Sakshi might have used the survey for
attacking the Naidu government, but has failed to do so. One more
chance has been lost!
