Vaiko the general secretary of Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (MDMK) and coordinator of PWF has stated that Tamil Nadu has around 1.5 crores new voters and the younger generation could make a revolutionary change in politics by supporting the DMDK-PWF combination in the forthcoming Assembly polls.
By Kick-starting the campaign at Pudur Mr. Vaiko has made an appeal to the students to educate the community on the evils of taking money for voting and he has garnered the support for P. Kathirvel, Vilathikulam constituency candidate of Tamil Maanila Congress (TMC) which is an ally of the combination.
Vaiko was optimistic that the combine would come to power and will definitely become an alternative to corrupt Dravidian parties and no doubt that Vijayakanth the DMDK leader would become the Chief Minister.
Vaiko also added that after the new reign the loans which were obtained by farmers would be waived off and the total prohibition would be implemented and Tamil Nadu fishermen would be protected from any attack or detention by Sri Lankan Navy.
