The Telangana Telugu Desam Party on Sunday has urged the TRS government to name the domestic terminal of Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Shamshabad after former chief minister and legendary actor N .T. Rama Rao.
The Telugu Desam Party has floored leader in the assembly A Revanth Reddy in an open letter to chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and has stated that the Central governance in the past had decided to name the domestic terminal of Rajiv Gandhi International Airport after NTR.
The TDP floor leader in the assembly A Revanth Reddy has also penned to the chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has told that it is the duty of the state government to name the domestic terminal after the former Chief Minister N.T. Rama Rao.
The demand has come after a day the chief minister has given assurance that the NTR Ghat on Necklace Road would not be disturbed at any cost.
