Andhra Pradesh’s Minister for Finance and Legislative Affairs
Yanamala Ramakrishnudu is no doubt one of the senior-most leaders of the
Telugu Desam Party. He is also considered as no. 2 in the Cabinet and a
close aide to the CM Chandrababu Naidu from many years.
It
is known that Yanamala handles several sensitive issues which creates
troubles for Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. The ruling TDP in AP
feels secure whenever Yanamala is present in the House, in cases where
Naidu himself abstains from the Assembly.
Although
he is senior leader, Yanamala is reportedly feeling insecure over
speculations that Naidu is planning to induct Lokesh Naidu into the
Andhra Pradesh Cabinet soon. The rank of Lokesh and his portfolio is yet
to be revealed but it has already unsettled Yanamala.
According
to close sources of the senior leader, Yanamala not only feels that his
importance would come down in the Cabinet, but he may be asked to toe
Lokesh’s line. Hence it is heard that he wants to be sent for Rajya
Sabha if Lokesh makes formal entry!
