According to the Met officials the temperatures are likely to soar and the heat wave conditions are likely to persist for the coming three days and there seems to be no respite for Telangana from the scorching sun.


The heat wave and sun stroke have already claimed 57 lives in Telangana on Monday alone and there were 15 deaths in Nalgonda, 13 each in Warangal and Khammam, 10 in Karimnagar three in Adilabad, two on Nizamabad and one death was reported from Rangareddy district.


The mercury has touched 45 degrees in Ramagundam and the temperature in Nizamabad was 44.6 degrees Celsius, 44.2 degrees in Mahabubnagar and Nalgonda, 43.6 degrees Celsius in Khammam and 42.8 degrees in Hyderabad.


The Meteorological department has stated that the heat wave will continue for few more days and the people have to take preventive steps to protect them from the soaring hot and not to move out during 12 noon to 3 pm.
