This may be a much awaited news for AP CM Chandrababu Naidu and the TDP led government which has been facing challenging situation after bifurcation. Foreigndirectinvestments.com linked Financial Times Newspaper had released a report recently.

This pertains to the highest Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) attracting states in our country. According to this report, Andhra Pradesh has been placed third attracting USD 610 Billion (41000 Crores) worth Foreign direct Investments in the year 2015.

Gujarat attracted USD 12.36 Billion while Maharashtra earned USD 8.28 Bilion occupying the top 2 positions. Karnataka and Jharkhand have taken place next to Andhra Pradesh. Interestingly, the scenario of FDIs for Navyandhra has become double after the state bifurcation .

This is an impressive figure when compared to the investments the region earned in United AP as FDIs was more or less concentrated in Hyderabad then. Only after the process of bifurcation, the 13 districts of AP is getting benefited.
