The IT Wing of AIADMK is making its presence felt in the district by liaising with the media on behalf of the candidates and the 25 members of the IT Wing working for fulfillment of Mission234 and it is providing details and updates about the campaign schedule of the candidates in the eight constituencies for about a fortnight now.
The wing’s primary mandate is to reach out to educated youngsters particularly first-time voters on the social media platform. Prabhu of Kunnathur a functionary of the rural district wing of the IT Wing and each of them has formed Wats’app and Face book groups to reach out to thousands of voters.
The Twenty five members of IT Wing who are either self-employed or in jobs has hold qualifications of B.E., MBA, and other PG degrees and they spend an hour or two in the morning for the party work and then get back to their work.
Most of the tech savvy youth have all been drawn to the party influenced by their parents' political backgrounds and Post-lunch they resume party work and some even accompany the candidates during campaign.
