When Al Qaeda chief Osama Bin Laden carried out 9/11 attacks on Twin Towers,he left not only US but entire world shell shocked. However determined USA smoked him out and United States Navy SEALs executed him in a daring operation in Abbottabad, Pakistan on May 2nd,2011.
Many people across the world wished to see the pictures of Laden's body after his death but White House didnot authorise the release of any of his body pictures. This came as surprise to many as US released the photographs and video of hanging of Iraq president Saddam hussein and also the post-mortem pictures of his criminal sons, Uday and Qusay, after Delta Force took them out.
Seal Team's one of the operator Matt Bissonnette sharing the secret in his book 'No Easy Day' explains that in his death,Osama was still convulsing and twitching. He continued saying he and other assaulter fired several rounds on Osama slamming his body into the floor till he was motionless.
On the legality of the Seals action, Laws of Land Warfare say they are authorised to fire till the enemy surrenders.
