Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu directed district officials to dispose of the files quickly in the interest of the people. But despite Chief Minister's directions, there are thousands of files pending at collectorates and other district offices.


As per reports, by April end, more than 75,000 files are pending at collectorates from 13 districts. The total number of pending files in other offices too is put at 1.63 lakh. Chandrababu Naidu was shocked to hear about this pending of files at collectorate and district office.

He immediately directed all officials to dispose of the files quickly in the interest of the people. The highest pendency in collectorate was in Kurnool district, with 8,743 files.Deputy Chief Minister K.E. Krishnamurthy who is looking after the revenue department represents Kurnool district.


Vizianagaram district collectorate recorded the lowest number of pendency with just 3183 files. On contrary, Krishna district recorded highest at 22,259 files and this was followed by Chandrababu Naidu's own district Chittoor with 21127 files.
