The officials of the police department and the APSRTC have currently urged the CRDA Commissioner N. Srikanth to allocate suitable land for establishing their administrative buildings in the new Amravati capital region.


The police officials on Friday has asked for 2.8 Lakhs square feet office space for constructing police headquarters adjacent to AP temporary secretariat at Velagapudi and has asked a permanent GDP office at a place where all governance offices are located.


Meanwhile the APSRTC’s MD and VP N. Sambasiva Rao have urged the CRDA Commissioner to allot 215 acres in the capital region for constructing bus depots and terminals. Sambasiva Roa has stated that they have formally submitted a requisition seeking 215 acres of land in the capital region.


The RTC has planned to construct one modern terminal in the capital region and they need adequate land to construct bus stations, bus stops, depots, bus bays and terminals for providing better services to the commuters and currently efforts are on to acquire lot of land in well advance to provide passenger friendly services.
