Yesteryear star actress, AIADMK chief Jayalalitha turned tables on DMK president Karunandi and stunned media houses proving exit polls wrong by coming back to power once again in Tamil Nadu.
This is no mean achievement as Jayalalitha rewrote history of Tamil Nadu by retaining power in 30 years as no party in power retained its power. Her jorney shows similarities between NTR and analysts lavish praises on their will power.
On March 25th in 1989 when Jayalalitha who was in opposition exposing DMK chief Karunanidhi in TN assembly was shocked when the ruling DMK MLAs made henious personal remarks on her.They even crossed all limits and pulled her saree leaving her in tears.
She vowed to enter the assembly only as CM of the state. Similarly when NTR was speaking in assembly as opposition leader, Congress leaders made personal allegations against him. Sadded NTR left the assembly vowing to return only as CM. Only Jayalalitha and NTR achieved the record in the country to return to assembly as CM of the states.
