Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu has finally spilled beans of
who motivated him to choose the final location for Andhra Pradesh’s
proposed capital city. He revealed that it was none other than Media
Baron Ramoji Rao. This news has become the hot topic across many
circles.
It is Ramoji who reportedly suggested
Amaravati as the name for the state’s upcoming capital. Chandrababu made
these comments when he released a book on Amaravati’s King Vasireddy
Venkatadri Naidu. The camaraderie between Naidu and Ramoji has been
known since long.
He used this occasion to
reveal the secret behind Amaravati’s location. Babu reportedly added
that Ramoji Rao not only had suggested the name but also sent him
information related to several historic facts and details of the name
and the history of this area.
Naidu again
promised to build Amaravati region as one of the Top 10 cities of the
World and reiterated how it had flourished during Satavahanas rule as
one of the biggest Business Hubs and also expressed that Amaravati is
the symbol for Telugu self respect.
