Jammu and Kashmir woke up to two terror strikes in the heart of Kashmir resulting in the death of three police men including one assistant sub inspector. In the first strike at around 10.45 AM ,to terrorists on motor cycle shot down two policemen in Zadibal area in Srinagar.


Terrorists shot from close range at the Mill Stop in Zadibal which connects the city to famous Hazratbal shrine and super specialty hospital SKIMS at Soura. Assistant sub-inspector Ghulam Mohammad and head constable Nazir Ahmad were killed in the attack. Security forces are out to nab the culprits.


Even before police could gain their composure, same motorbike terrorists killed another cop at Tenpora in Batamaloo pass shooting him down with a silencer fitted pistol. Terrorists also ran away with the service rifle of the cop. 


Opposition National Conference president Omar Abdullah expressed grave concern on the growing terror attacks in the state and blasted PDP lead Mehabooba Mufti government for the inefficiency. Hizbul Mujahideen terror outfit claimed responsibility for the terror strikes.
