If the reports from New Delhi are to be indeed believed, then the
Union Urban Development Minister Venkaiah Naidu may be moving out of the
Narendra Modi cabinet in a month. This is seen as part of the reshuffle
of BJP and the cabinet shortly. And here is the latest update.
Sources
say that Venkaiah Naidu would be inducted back into the party
activities and offered a senior position. He is all set to finish his
Rajya Sabha term in next few days and there are no chances of him being
re-nominated from any of the state. This has come as a surprise for
many.
Hence he may be foregoing the ministerial
berth in the Modi cabinet. Meanwhile the RSS strongman Ram Madhav, who
was key in bringing the BJP to ruling in Kashmir and also Assam may be
offered Cabinet post!
Venkaiah Naidu is
considered a close friend of AP CM Chandrababu Naidu and his exit may
leave a lot of room exposed. At the same time, Ram Madhav who is a
native of Amalapuram in Andhra Pradesh is a person who wants AP BJP to
grow strong and independent!
