After a series of high profile and surprising defections from YSRCP
to the ruling Telugu Desam Party, there seem to be some breather for
the defections over last few days. This brings much relief to the YSRCP
boss YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Here are the details.
However
media reports say this may not last long with many more YSR Congress
MLAs getting ready for joining the party in Mahanadu. The annual three
day conclave of the party falls on 27th, 28th and 29th of May. The Deputy Chairman of AP’s Council, Satish Reddy hinted that nearly 16 MLAs are joining TDP.
As
of now 17 MLAs have switched sides, if 16 more jump the fence, that
means half of YSR Congress MLAs will be into TDP. And if that goes
through, Jagan Mohan Reddy should leave all his hopes on the lone Rajya
Sabha seat that he is supposed to get.

circles from YSRCP reveal Jagan is very eager to make sure that his
close-aide in business and politics, Vijaya Sai Reddy is sent to Rajya
Sabha so that he can create a new ground for good relations with other
parties in Delhi! The coming days will reveal a clear picture.
