Faced with the  back to back criticism of naming several government schemes after Chandranna, the Andhra Pradesh chief minister's office (CMO) has reportedly directed all departments to halt the use of `Chandranna' tag immediately. This is being seen as a good move.

According to reports, CMO has in this regard issued instructions to all ministers that unless they have prior and formal consent from chief minister Chandrababu Naidu, there will  be no more naming schemes and programmers in his name. The members have agreed to this dictum.

This is being seen as sudden U-turn, after allowing all departments to tag `Chandranna' to the schemes that were launched in the last two years. Sources say AP chief minister Chandrababu was upset with the latest controversy where the Kapu community halls were being named after him.

Initially, some of the TDP bosses tried to defend this move of giving Kapu Bhavans also `Chandranna' tag but this has backfired and now Babu has directed that without seeking his permission since they are doing this, it should be stopped immediately! Good thought CBN!
