In a shocking incident sending shivers an air ambulance carrying seven people crash landed in a field in Najafgarh,South West Delhi on Tuesday. People had narrow escape and no one sustained any major injuries. 


The incident happened when the air ambulance from Patna was enroute to Delhi. The six eater Beech King Air C -90A carrying seven people crash landed at around 2.40 PM in Kair village in Najafgarh,10 kM from the Indira Gandhi International Airport. 


The plane which is 27 year old belongs to Chandigarh-based private operator Alchemist Airways. According to airport officials,it was forced to land after failure of both engines. DGCA already started inquiry into the accident.


While other passengers were taken to nearby Government hospital for examination,  61-year-old Virender Rai, a cardiac patient who was being flown to Delhi has been rushed to the Medanta hospital in Gurgaon immediately after the incident.Others include upesh (doctor), Jung Bahadur (aircraft technician), Juhi and Bhagwan Rai (both relatives of the patient), Amit Kumar (pilot) and Rohit (co-pilot).


Civl Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju tweeted "I pray for the early recovery of the injured. The causes of the accident shall be looked into," 14 fire tenders were rushed after the crashlanding of the aircraft.
