Has the revival of the otherwise dead Congress party in Andhra
Pradesh started? Did it start much before than expected. Well the answer
may be yes, if one can go by he enthusiastic response which the party
got in the heart of Andhra, Vijayawada recently.
The
Andhra Pradesh unit of Congress organized a massive dharna against the
projects which were conceived by Telangana state on Krishna and Godavari
rivers. As part of this meeting, a galaxy of AP Congress leaders who
were under hibernation also came out.
This is
seen as a major boost for the beleaguered party which has been facing an
existential crisis with not even one MLA in the Assembly. This is seen
as a first threat to the YSRCP boss Jagan Reddy as he shares his vote
bank with Congress. He needs to revamp the situation before it is too
late.
Then it is a threat to BJP because if
Congress picks up in Andhra Pradesh, naturally no votes will go towards
BJP. In ;long term it is a threat to TDP and hence party cadre feels it
is the time to buck up and go hammer and things against Telangana
projects!
