Sources have stated that a team from World Bank has completed successfully its four days tour of CRDA region and the World Bank is reportedly in favor of giving loan as a part of Amravati Susceptible Capital City Development Project (ASCCP)

Andhra Pradesh is anticipating a loan of 6600 Crore from the World Bank which will be mostly used for the creation of infrastructure development in the Capital Region and another team of World Bank will visit Amravati in August and will then finalize the quantum of the loan.

Meanwhile the state government has managed to get the necessary clearances from the Union government for this loan and now the onus is on the Modi government to live up to the promise of providing funds to all the expenses for the major government buildings.

The Union government is extremely insensitive to the needs of the state government and Chandrababu Naidu is exploring alternative ways to get things going and this in principle loan approval from World Bank will come as a huge relief for the leader who is keen on giving the capital a shape by 2019 elections.
