It is a known fact that Telangana CM and TRS boss K Chandrasekhar Rao was supposed to arrive in Tirupati and fulfill his much publicized vow to the famous Lord Venkateswara. Apparently, he actually took a vow to visit the temple town if Telangana becomes a reality.

Reports also say KCR already kept ready the offering which was supposed to be given for the Lord. Gold ornaments worth 5 crores were designed for being gifted by KCR and the contract went to a Coimbatore based firm! Few other offerings are also part of the list he wants to give.

If things went ahead as planned, KCR was supposed to visit the temple town this month but it now appears as if he has deferred or even cancelled his plans as of now. The main reason being mentioned is the latest irrigation projects taken up by the state of Telangana.

Due to these projects, the Rayalaseema region is facing danger of becoming a desert land and the farmers of the region are quite furious. In case he visits Tirupati, there may be serious law-and-order problems. And KCR looks firm on going ahead with the projects. Hence he is not visiting now.
