Sources have told that all six candidates, who has filed their nomination papers for Rajya Sabha seats from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, are all set to get elected unopposed. The nominations was made for AP and Telangana.
As per the informations received from the Chief Electoral Officer Bhanwarlal, all six nominations, for four seats in AP and two seats in Telangana, were found to be valid during scrutiny held on Wednesday and however, he has said that the results would be declared only on June 3 at 3 PM.
The results would be declared after the end of deadline for withdrawal of nomination and therefore the list was announced and it includes TRS candidates Dharmapuri Srinivas and Capt. Lakshmikantha Rao from Telangana and TDP candidates Y.S. Chowdhary.
T.G. Venkatesh of TDP, BJP candidate and Union Railways Minister Suresh Prabhu and YSRCP candidate V. Vijaya Sai Reddy are all set to get elected to Rajya Sabha unanimously.
