Prime Minister Narendra Modi landed in USA once again to cast his magic on everyone. The Rockstar Prime Minister of India is on his fourth visit to US in just two years and this shows the bonding PM Modi and US President Barack Obama shares not only professionally but also personally.

While his earlier visits were full of business events this is of high significance as it will be more of state to state conversation. On his arrival he was accorded grand welcome by Indian community at Joint Base Andrews (JBA), in Washington DC, USA on Monday.


The visit hosted by US President Barack Obama will discuss foreign policy and Modi's visit start with the visit to the Arlington National Cemetery, the bilateral conversation with Obama at the White House, to the joint meeting of the US Congress on Capitol Hill. There is no large diaspora event scheduled in Washington.


Modi began his three day visit by laying a wreath at the Tomb of Unknown Soldiers and paying homage to Indian-American astronaut late Kalpana Chawla at Arlington National Cemetery.

Ahton Carter, US Defencce Secretary accompanied PM Modi and along with him Indian Ambassador to the US Arun K Singh, Foreign Secretary S Jaishankar, US Ambassador to India Richard Verma and Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asia Nisha Desai Biswal were present. 


USA in a good will gesture decided to return India stolen treasures that could be worth hundreds of million of dollars and of  2000-year old antiques and artifacts. PM Modi sharing his feelings tweeting . ''My gratitude to the US Govt for the sensitivity shown to India's heritage. This will evoke great respect among the people of India,''
