The police have arrested Kapu crusader Mudragada Padmanabham who has threatened to sit on a hunger strike, the Kapu reservation row is back in news again, following this, Congress senior leader V Hanumantha Rao has demanded Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan to intervene into the issue and initiate talks with the AP state government in favor of Kapus.
Meanwhile the VH has cautioned that Chandrababu Naidu will have to pay price if he tries to neglect the issue of Kapu reservation and Mudragada on June 7 has stated that he would sit on dharna alleging that the state government failed to keep its promises.
Mudragada has alleged that the government is arresting Kapu leaders against to the previous promise it had made that cases won't be lodged on leaders of Kapu Garjana that took a violent route in Tuni in Jan 2016.
Earlier Pawan had announced his support for reservation to Kapu community as they were promised before, where Pawan however has said that Kapus should be accommodated in the BC list 'without causing loss to others in the BCs'.
