Mega Star Chiranjeevi who is also Rajya Sabha MP from Congress party enjoys huge fan following among masses. Chiranjeevi who has been silent for quite sometime in politics suddenly came to the limelight by blasting AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu over Mudragada Padmanabham's arrest.
He questioned the arrest of Mudragada who has been fasting demanding Kapu reservations and against the arrest of some in Tuni violence. Ruling TDP MLAs and Ministers like Narayana, Nimmakayala China Rajappa, Ganta Srinivasa Rao and Bonda Uma tared into Chiranjeevi attacking him for the use of language and supporting Tuni violence.
This angered Mega fans and they conducted dharna in Vijayawada against Narayana and Bonda Uma. Chiranjeevi Youth Association from Krishna and Vijayawada districts staged massive dharna opposing the remarks of the ministers against Chiranjeevi.
In the meantime it is coming out that more than 00 ZPTCs/MPTCs and 2000 party's workers of the TDP from East Godavari quit in support of Mudragada Padmanabham.
