The film industry seems to have worked on plethora of biopics celebrating the spirit and determination of sportspersons like Mary Kom, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Paan Singh Tomar. Also the recently released Azhar, Nirja and the upcoming M S Dhoni: The Untold Story. Also the earlier the movies on freedom fighters like Gandhi, Sardar Patel, Bhagat Singh and now its on the politicians.
There is a buzz that biopic on AP CM Chandrababu Naidu and Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao will be released before the 2019 general elections. Lokesh, son of Naidu and KCR's son and IT minister KTR are planning to come up with a film on the lives of heir father and the countless contributions they have made to the state.
As per sources KTR has talked to director Shankar and some Telangana leaders to start the scriptwriting showing KCR's legacy.
They are also planning a digital documentary on KCR's life and the final decision will be after KCR's permission is obtained to go ahead for it. Lokesh has also met top directors like Raghavendra Rao, VV Vinayak alond with others for a film based on the life and legends of Chandrababu Naidu. Scripts for their documentary and biopic showcasing them will be finalised soon.
