Common feeling among all is CBI works under Union Government and CID works under State Government's pressures. Many accuse Congress of misusing CBI and CID when it was in power to crush the opponents.Jagan since associated with Congress knew how it misused government institutions.
So when the ruling TDP agreed for CID investigation on Tuni violence,Ratnachal Express burning etc, he demanded for CBI investigation saying CID works under Chandra Babu's hands.
Jagan very well knew that for Tuni violence, YSRCP cadre and Mudragada Padmanabham's vitriolic statements are the main reasons. Jagan planned to attack Chandra Babu if they don't agree for CBI and if CID investigation find fault with them,they can easily claim political vendetta.
However Chandra Babu shocked saying he is ready for CBI enquiry and if Mudragada too agree,he is ready for CBI investigation.
