India's biggest data center will be soon coming up in Hyderabad, according to Telangana Information Technology Minister K. T. Rama Rao who revealed that state government is trying to find a right anchor for the big data center campus. This is going to be a prestigious project in Telangana.

The state will also be unveiling four supportive sectoral policies for cyber security, data analytics, data center and open data in the coming months. The center is reportedly being planned as per the global trend of countries keeping all the data generated in their respective territories.
The minister also added that in this regard he already had talks with few companies in USA and a meeting will be held soon for the same in Delhi for finding an anchor soon. In case the data center comes up, then vertical and horizontal integration fields will throw up great opportunities.

Sources say that the center will need hardware manufacturing like servers which contributes to sectors like cyber security and data analytics. Even VLSI design center would be soon set up in Hyderabad which will be the first such facility in India. Best of success to KTR!
