In the recent development with regard to Agri Gold Group of Companies scam, Andhra Pradesh Government informed Hyderabad High Court that is is ready to face inquiry from CBI. The High Court also cleared the air that, even though the case will be given to CBI by both AP and Telangana, the auction of properties which has been going on under its supervision, will continue.
The court noted that the Karnataka government has already handed over the cases against Agri Gold to the CBI. Right now the case against Agri Gold in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are being investigated by CID of the states concerned.

During the plea, the bench comprising of Chief Justice Dilip B. Bhosale and Justice S.V. Bhatt asked AP advocate-general D. Srinivas about the status of the investigation.
The bench also expressed its disapproval and the company management was trying to mislead the court by furnishing false information and it never extended its full co-operation to oversee the auction. The case was adjourned to next Tuesday. Stay tuned for more updates.
