Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekar Rao has said that the Centre should not only expedite the process of bifurcation of the High Court but also issue notification to allocate judicial officers and staff only after High Courts of TS and AP start function separately.

He also wrote a letter to Union home minister Rajnath Singh and he quoted  that as per the AP Reorganization Act, said that as per Section 31 of the Act, the issue of establishing a separate High Court for AP was still pending.

The letter read, "I would reiterate that process to divide the state and create Telangana is incomplete as the division is limited to the executive and legislature only as the High Court is yet to be divided."

KCR also disagreed with Union law minister Sadananda Gowda's statement who said only Chief Minister and High Court Judge have complete authority during allotment of Judges. KCR said only Centre can allot the Judicial officers. KCR also said out of 205 Judicial officers Telangana was allotted 95 and Andhra Pradesh was allotted 110.
