People of two Telugu states Andhra Pradesh and Telangana pride Hyderabad as IT Hub. People across the country love Hyderabad for its divergent culture and friendly nature and love to live in the city. However Hyderabad is fast becoming notorious for various terror modules.
For quite some time Hyderabad connection to various terror strikes in the country is comingout which is becoming a bolt on its reputation. Now NIA in a shocker busted dreaded ISIS module in Hyderabad. NIA in multiple raids at the old quarters of the IT city detained 10 people unearthing a terror plot.
National Investigation Agency (NIA) in a joint operation with Hyderabad police conducted raids in Moghalpura and Bhavaninagar areas. NIA IG Sanjeev Kumar said searches are on at around ten locations in Hyderabad. ISIS members were suspected of planning to carry terror strikes in India and are in constant touch with their handlers in Syria.
NIA recovered huge amount of arms,ammunitionand Rs 15 lakh worth currency. NIA is investigating on the source of financing and laptops. These raids came as shock when advocates and lawyers are holding the city under seige for the last three weeks.
Earlier in January NIA arrested 14 ISIS sympathisers from various parts of the country and two from Hyderabad. This came even as ISIS terrorists attacked Turkey Ataturk airport killing 36 people and injuring 147 on wednesday.
