Whenever the election season is approaching the political parties come with many golden promises. It is a different thing that by the time elections are over they forget their word and get busy with earning crores of rupees for that term. But if at least half of the promises are kept then that’s the best way to be in power.  The TDP president Chandrababu Naidu is busy roaming around the entire state in the name of ‘Vastunna Mee Kosam’ and not only that, he has been coming up with some promises which are touching the sky. The latest we hear is Babu has promised to waive off the Value Added Tax (VAT) on textiles and slash the power tariff.  As rosy as they may sound the fact of the matter is, how realistic are they and can they be achieved. On a critical note, it looks like just one of those political promises made by any party just to get to power. In a way if Chandrababu is looking to hold power for few years then he better get into the act and fulfill his promises.
