There has been a sudden jolt for Jagan’s party in the crucial Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh. This comes at a time when YSRCP has been facing a lot of trouble over the defection of several of its ruling MLA’s for last few months. The latest can be deemed as severe.

The party has lost 20 MLA’s so far in past couple of months which started with the high profile defection of Bhuma Nagi Reddy. The exodus to TDP is happening with an objective. Sources say that TDP has been focusing very much on Rayalseema to make sure that Jagan doesn’t gain here.

Now Mydukur MLA Raghurami Reddy has offered his resignation as MLA. The reason he has given is that he is very upset with no protocols being followed by the ruling Telugu Desam and accused TDP of insulting opposition MLA’s. This came as a surprise.

Hence many say that this is only a resignation directed at showing his sense of frustration. But there are others who feel that this MLA was also expected to join TDP. But rather than doing this directly, he is now taking an indirect route by staying neutral for some time and then joining TDP!
