Quid Pro is a term which became very famous in Andhra Pradesh after the arrest of the YSRCP boss Jagan Mohan Reddy by the CBI. It means ‘I get a favour and in return I will offer you a favour’. Now AP CM Chandrababu Naidu has made such an open offer.

Jagan Mohan Reddy

Chandrababu has been reiterating for quite some time that the state of Telangana cannot only pick the issues it wants in its interests and the state should come forward for resolving all the issues which are impacting both the Telugu states after bifurcation.

Babu clearly referred to how Telangana has been very much pushy over the high court division while not extending any co-operation to divide the assets of institutions falling under the Section 9 and 10 of the AP Reorganization Act. His point is quite valid under the circumstances.

AP CM is clearly sending a  message to Telangana that it cannot expect Andhra Pradesh to help in High Court bifurcation if Telangana fails to co-operate towards division of assets and liabilities of the above mentioned institutions. Looks like Babu has come to a conclusion that ‘enough is enough’!
