This might sound very ironical and somewhat unbelievable but in the last decade and half, the Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh barring Rosaiah have come from the Rayalaseema region. But still, the region is backward not only in basic amenities but also in its infrastructure and other things.
Taking the last decade into account the impact of Y S Rajasekhar Reddy and his son Jagan have been high. But there are two things the father-son duo seems to have neglected completely. It is the internet and mobile network facilities. Interestingly, the situation is worse near Jagan’s own cement factory Bharati Cement based at Yerraguntla.
It is heard that the mobile signal is very weak and the internet is literally zero. The sad part is, even if one comes to the nearest town Prodattur there is no proper internet facility or even a mobile bill payment store such as the Idea company. Why such things were never focused by the late YSR or Jagan. At a time when technology is the most needed, this kind of apathy is shameful.
