It is stated that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has one thing in common with former Andhra Pradesh chief minister late Y S Rajasekhar Reddy he would reward those who are his loyalists and it was evident from the way KCR has appointed his strong loyalist S Subhash Reddy as the chairman of Telangana State Mineral Development Corporation (TSMDC).
It is stated that Subhash Reddy has no administrative experience or has any idea of mineral development in the state and he was given the post only because he has been with KCR right from the beginning.
Earlier he was promised Lok Sabha ticket in the past, but because of caste equations, he could not get it and now and he is rewarded with the chairman post of an important corporation.
This was the mindset and attitude of YSR as well, if he had thought a person is his loyalist, YSR used to go out of the way to help him and he used to believe people who were close to him, but never used to spare those who used to ditch him.
