Power Star of Tollywood and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan may have finally woken up from his slumber. There are speculations that he has started all arrangements for giving a formal shape to his political career. It is already indicated that he would quit films soon.
Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation
According to reports, he may most likely test waters regarding his political stand by independently contesting the for the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation polls to be held soon. His supporters are holding discussions at the division levels of the GVMC.
Jana Sena may not participate
Pawan seems to have identified rampant levels of corruption in the municipal administration as well as lack of any development projects in the city in last two years. While there are talks that Jana Sena may not participate, many feel this is the right time for Pawan to take the plunge.
There were similar rumours before Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation wherein Pawan had declared that his party will be in fray. He backed out later and now it has to be seen whether this will happen in Vizag! For now, it is important for Pawan to do this as it would show his position among the people as a leader.
