PM Modi led NDA government at Centre received huge shock when Supreme Court restored Congress government in Aurnachal Pradesh. The Supreme Court of India in a landmark jugdement said that Jyoti Prasad, Arunachal Pradesh governor's decision of advancing the state assembly by one month is n violation of the constitution and is liable to be quashed. 


The highest court announced that all steps and decisions taken by the legislative assembly pursuant to governor's December 9, 2015 are unsustainable and laible to be quashed. Supreme Court order makes it imminent for the kalikho Pul government to step down and make way for the Nabam Tuki's Congress government. 


The Supreme Court also restored Speaker Nabam Rebia and struck down the removal earlier. This is for the first time,Supreme Court restored a state government dismissed by Union Government under President's rule. Court in its ruling stated that the verdict will affect every state in future. 


Congress government faced crisis when 21 of its 47 lawmakers rebelled against the party and 11 BJP MLAs backed to form a government. 12 of the Congress MLAs were disqualified earlier.
